Exploration is a big part of finding your passion; you have to try different things, in different settings, in order uncover what you love. However, while exploring you also risk failing, which we tend to avoid. In this way, could a fear of failure hold us back?

In this TEDx Talk Cass Phillipps, the founder of FailCon, outlines how fear of failure stops us from exploring and discovering what we love. She argues that this fear intensifies as we get older as we have more risks to consider. In order to overcome this fear, she suggests you have to learn to love the challenge, and consider the worst and best that could come from taking a risk.
