The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Community Center in Manhattan, NY has several openings listed, including a Family Permanency Coordinator. This full-time position is for anyone who is interested in creating programming to increase safe and affirming homes for youth in child welfare, as well as help “at risk” families become closer and stronger. Advanced clinical degree, LMSW or similar, is required.
Also in Manhattan, Hetrick-Martin Institute (HMI) is seeking a full-time Director of Institutional Giving. Applicants will need previous fundraising experience to manage the Institutional Giving program and the ability to coordinate with others. HMI serves all at-risk youth, particularly LGBTQ, throughout New Jersey, New York metropolitan area, and the five boroughs of NYC.
In West Hollywood, CA, The Trevor Project is looking for a part-time Digital Marketing Specialist to begin June 15. The organization provides crisis intervention and suicide prevention for LGBTQ youth and this role will involve monitoring online conversations with fans/followers. There will be opportunities to attend conferences and events.
The Ruth Ellis Center, Inc in Detroit, MI is seeking a full-time Wellness Navigator/Case Manager to assist LGBTQ youth and young adults in accessing and retaining quality medical care. An Associate degree in a Human Service field or high school diploma/GED and 1-2 years experience are required at minimum. The Ruth Ellis Center provides residential safe space and support services for runaway, homeless, and at-risk LGBTQ youth.
SPARK Reproductive Justice NOW is seeking a part-time (with benefits) Digital Communications and Development Coordinator. This organization uses a collaborative model of advocacy, leadership, and collective action to impact the reproductive justice movement for Black women and queer people. Applicants should be committed to reproductive justice and have experience with online campaigns and database management. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
