let your dream be bigger than your fears

Feeling uninspired? We have the perfect thing to give your career (or your job search) a needed boost.

Whether you’re looking for something completely new, or just want to learn and grow in your current position, there’s nothing like a challenge—and a little bit of accountability—to get you moving toward your professional goals. We’ll even sweeten the deal with a gift card!

In this spirit, we invite you to join our #IdealistCareersTryThis challenge. Here’s how it works:

  • Each month, from February until June of 2019, we’ll send you a “Try This” assignment with a specific professional prompt or challenge. Challenges will be in the vein of networking, professional and personal development, resume updates, and the like.
  • Along with each email, we’ll include resources straight from Idealist Careers to support you as you commit to rise to the month’s challenge.
  • As you complete each challenge, share you results, questions, obstacles encountered, and of course, your successes with us on Twitter and Instagram using #IdealistCareersTryThis. You can also let us know how it’s going right here in the comments.
  • Once the email series has run its course (in June) we’ll randomly select a handful of participants to receive a $25 Amazon gift card, so be sure to comment, Tweet, and ‘gram your #IdealistCareersTryThis success stories!

    Hi,
Myself Shalomi Varghese from India, looking forward to owning a non-profit social organization for women and children. I have less knowledge of organizing but I have the potential to tackle the risks. I want to change the social vulnerability over women and children. And planning forward to carry with this dream without any religious fanatic problem. I will be thankful for your reply.

I’m excited to be entering the challenge. I am feeling very stagnant in my current role and not very motivated to perform at the level that I once did.
