We know that hiring managers only spend a few seconds skimming applications. Given this short time frame, how can you make the most of your resume and cover letter while increasing your career prospects?

This video from Harvard University – Extension School summarizes the key components of any successful job search: a resume that notes your accomplishments and is easy to read; a cover letter that makes the explains why you are the perfect person for that particular job; and a network that you are constantly building and engaging through informational interviews.
